World Music Cafe launches an exciting new season of multicultural ‘Dinner & Show’ events in partnership with the Camelot Theatre in Mosman Park in April, May, and June 2021.
 
The monthly supper club features a quality line-up of Perth’s top multicultural artists with a delicious banquet of international cuisine prepared by chef Nimrod Kazoom and the World Music Cafe kitchen team.
 
World Music Cafe is a social enterprise that coordinates cultural food and music events across Perth, while developing employment skills, local work experience, and community connections for the team of participants from migrant or refugee backgrounds.
 
“It’s been amazing, World Music Cafe has given us greater confidence, local experience and training, and increased our sense of belonging in our new country” said WMC team member, Marzia Rasouli.

Flamenco Puro – Perth’s premier Spanish dance ensemble featuring dancers Farida Rabih and Emma Macmillan, with live music by Manolo Munoz (vocals) and Jose Giraldo (guitar).

Crystal Jade – Elegant traditional Chinese ensemble featuring Stella Huang on yangtin (hammer dulcimer) and Merlin Ma on bamboo flute.

Asad Alizada -Extraordinary Hazara dombara musician from the mountains of Afghanistan.

Zagoria Cain – An accomplished duo featuring two of Perth’s most experienced world musicians, Ilan Zagoria (guitar) and Mark Cain (wind instruments) on a musical journey from Southern Africa to Central Europe and the Middle East.
